A city full of heart and vibrancy, Manchester has always earned a top-flight hierarchy when it comes to a live music culture, drawing near comparisons to neighbouring cities like Sheffield and further down south in London.
Those familiar to the world of urban multi-venue festivals, would be familiar with the likes of Dot to Dot Festival in Nottingham and Bristol and Brixton Disco Festival that tap far into the southern sector of live music. Perhaps closer to home would be Meltchester, a smaller multi-venue festival tapping into the vast potential of psychedelic punk rock that took place at surrounding grass-root venues in Manchester.
Integral to the cities’ music scene for both grass-root and impending artists, any new excitements in music are important – and this newest multi-venue festival is certainly no different here.
