In a brazen news media “frenzy” announcement plastered across social media, Red Hot Chilli Peppers have declared their return to the industry with a mass European and American tour in 2022 – with new music undoubtedly on the way, too.
With John Frusciante returning to the guitarists’ helm, the question is – will you make the effort to go see them live?

I don’t think so. Saw them back in ’92 unfortunately when Frusciante had just departed. I can’t say I’ve been a huge follower since Blood Sugar….

Yeah – regardless of their music, from a live perspective, they feel very lacklustre and empty in a stadium setting. Here’s hoping they’ll end up doing smaller shows closer to the end of the year.

I agree. Haven’t had time for them for a long while now, but will give this new album with Frus a listen. Never heard Stadium Arcadium though, apparently the previous album they did with the guitarist.
