Ahead of their debut EP, “War Boys” set to be released on the 23rd of September, we take a look into an exclusive artist spotlight with… Dead Pony.
Armed to the teeth with infectious battle-ready choruses infused with a Bikini Kill-esque grunge/post-punk sound to their mix, Dead Pony are ready and hungry to rip up the punk movement one sweaty gig at a time. They’ve already captivated audiences at Glastonbury and Kendall Calling this Summer, for their live show what’s next for the Glaswegian collective? Well, a London headline show, for one. They’ll be bringing their raucous energy down south marking their mark on fairly new live music venue, The Lower Third (formally Bar 12) as they no doubt celebrate their debut EP success.
You’ve already heard stalwart trail-blazers in Bullet Farm, 23, Never Me and Zero that show no signs in slowing up at all with the rest of songs that they can’t wait to release.
“Musically we have fully embraced our rock side – huge riffs, big choruses with a sprinkling of punk and grunge elements. We couldn’t be more proud of how well the singles has been received and can’t wait to get the rest of the tracks out into the world.”
They may be playing BBC Introducing stages at some of our favourite summer festivals this year, but where will they be on the map in a few years’ time? Time will certainly tell but one thing is for sure, won’t you be half glad that I told you about them early on, eh?
For fans of Spyres, Baby Strange and Nothing But Thieves.

Their debut EP is out on the 23rd September 2022. Get ready.
