KAMORA: ‘Feel Alive’ singles review – a feeling of summer magic

KAMORA are back with their third offering of 2022 with ‘Feel Alive’. A meteoric summer tune you’ve been waiting for, it has cemented their spot as anthemic indie-rockers as their signature sound is enriched with snazzy hooks with a feel-good factor equipped throughout their roster so far.

This track navigates the theme of an individual struggling to find their
purpose in life. It’s a relatable tale of growing up and trading in the youthful
fulfilment of going out, with an aimless daily grind that makes pursuing
dreams an impossibility. Through powerful lyrics such as “To me this is all a
game, I’m hitting 95[mph] just to feel alive”, you get the desired sense that the
shackles of mundanity are breaking and, in turn, this energetic piece will burst
into your ears — and your playlists, too.

Many bloggers have reviewed Kamora’s material, which has led to plays on
BBC Rapal and various other radio stations and earned them consistently
successful spins on streaming platforms. It’s no wonder they’ve boxed off
gigs for This Feeling, and major venues across Glasgow and Edinburgh
including King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut, Broadcast and Sneaky Pete’s.

Kamora are plotting some major dates in the calendar for later in the year. Stay tuned close to the bands’ socials to stay in the loop.
