The Tribute of Taylor Hawkins: Live at Wembley

A companionship for the ages. Two brothers joint at the hip via the love of musicianship and creativity. An embodiment of true music love strife to the very end. And a poignant tale of Dave Grohl losing another close friend of his.

To support, cry and celebrate the life of Taylor Hawkins, some of the biggest musicians and artists from all corners of the industry came together in a moment of union as one person to mourn one great drummer.

A personal inspiration to many – fellow musicians, advocates, family and friends – it was a once-in-a-lifetime moment in that very space for one night only.

A truly fitting tribute, I don’t think there was one dry eye in the house.

You can check my favourite moment below with his son honouring his dad on the kit, blasting out My Hero to 90,000 fans.
