Hey folks. A rather sombre update this Thursday morning. I am quitting. That’s right, the time it takes compared to how much I actually hate music, it works as not totally worth it.

So, I’m selling the lease and copyright credentials for Man v Music – highest offer wins.

Thank you to all those that crept into our site and either learned something, read something or laughed along the way. We are incredulously indebted to you all. What a ride – but I bid you farewell.

** If you guys hadn’t guessed it’s Aprils Fools today – this will wake up this morning haha

    Funny you should post this, as I’m seriously considering quitting blogging – at least for a while. I’m burned out on writing reviews, and frustrated by the lack of interest on the part of the 1000+ who follow my blog, not to mention a not insignificant percentage of the artists I write about.

      Yeah I know, I feel you on that, my friend. It seems all pointless when your amassed audience doesn’t share the same excitement as you do with such things like your reviews, but those 10 or 15 that do? It makes all the more worth it when you get a nice little neat group blogging. I’ve found blogging is not worth your time and worth your time at the same time haha. If not for others interest, at least find it in yourself to keep going, improve your writing and get your reviews out there you know? But I won’t be disheartened if you do take a break (only for a little while though) blogging can be tough and not worth it in the short run. In the long run? That may be a different story! I fully get and support you and your decision with this one though. Let me know and I’d always be down for collaboration each way. Whether it be shared content or merely a comment, I’ve got your back. That way, we’ll get a little community starting just for you who are all about music. Let me know!
